Rock L8 Outdoor Climb with the Red River Gorge Climbers Coalition

🧗‍♀️ Catalyst Sports and the RRGCC are teaming to bring you a FREE outdoor climbing day at the Red River Gorge designed for adaptive climbers! 🙌

📅 When: Saturday, June 13th, 10am-4pm.

📍 Where: The beautiful Red River Gorge, Kentucky!

🚐 Transportation from Louisville and Lexington will be provided by the Red River Gorge Shuttle – more details in the signup form!

We are excited to partner with the Red River Gorge Climber's Coalition for an outdoor climb at the Red River Gorge on Saturday June 13th! Bluegrass Climbing School will provide rock climbing guides and all necessary equipment. This event is open to adaptive climbers who are able to navigate an uphill hiking trail appx 1/4 mile long with roots, rocks, etc. *Please note- there are no accessible restroom facilities at this climbing location. There is a small vault toilet onsite, with no grab bars. We will have volunteers available to assist with hiking and climbing.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE

7:30am Shuttle pick up in Louisville

9am Shuttle pick up in Lexington

10:30am Meet at climbing area parking lot

10:30-11am Hike to climbing wall

11am-4:30pm Climbing!

4:30-5pm Hike to parking lot

5pm Depart the Red River Gorge

6:30pm Shuttle drop off in Lexington (subject to change)

8pm Shuttle drop off in Louisville (subject to change)
