Join a ranger for a variety of adaptive sports days including hiking, camping, kayaking, and mountain biking in the national park. Adaptive equipment is available to borrow for all programs, or bring your own!
Overnight Adventure Kayaking (Trip 2)
September 13-15, 2024
Chattanooga, TN (The Tennessee River)
Spend 1 1/2 days paddling down the Tennesee River with a stop off at a campground overnight. This adventure is open to individuals with physical disabilities. With specially designed adaptive kayaks and the assistance of volunteers, we've structured the trip to ensure that everyone can experience the splendor of the Tennessee River in an inclusive and accessible manner.
9/11 Memorial Climb
September 6-8, 2024
Linville Gorge, NC
Every year we commemorate the 9/11 attack with a veterans camping and climbing trip in the rugged mountains of Western North Carolina. Join us for a weekend of primitive camping and rock climbing, culminating in a 300' climb up Table Rock in the beautiful Linville Gorge wilderness.
Charleston Climbing Kick-Off Event

Bowling Green Climbing Kick-Off Event

Join us as we re-launch adaptive climbing in Bowling Green, KY at Red Point Climbing Center! New volunteer training will be Friday evening, followed by our adaptive climbing clinic and kick-off party on Saturday September 28th. This event is free for athletes and food/refreshments are provided!
Beyond Limits Ride, November 9th, 2024

The Beyond Limits Ride is a cycling event connecting and elevating community spirit while fostering inclusivity for all. Our Goal is to Raise $1 million for Catalyst Sports to enhance adaptive sports programs by 2030. Participants can join in person at our ride on Nov 9th, or virtually at your own location.
Southeast Paraclimbing Competition, December 7th, 2024

Our regional paraclimbing competition is back for the 3rd year! This competition is for new and seasoned climbers interested in testing themselves against other competitors, and prepare for the USA Paraclimbing National Championships.
Paraclimbing Setting Clinic, December 3rd-7th, 2024
Kennesaw, GA
This instructional clinic is for route setters and route setting directors who want to learn more about setting for adaptive climbers. Led by Aaron Davis and Nohl Haeckel, clinic participants will receive 1:1 instruction and feedback while setting routes for the Southeast Paraclimbing Competition. On Saturday, watch adaptive athletes climb your routes! You will also learn about setting for adaptive climbers commercially and bring back these skills to your home gym.
