Atlanta, GA — Catalyst Sports is thrilled to announce the launch of our Kids Ride! Bike Loaner Program, a new program designed to give youth with physical disabilities the opportunity to experience the joy, freedom and confidence that comes from riding a bike.
The Kids Ride! Bike Loaner Program allows families to borrow adaptive bicycles at no cost, with long-term support as children grow and their needs change. By removing financial and access barriers, the program helps ensure that cycling, an activity many families take for granted, is inclusive and achievable for more youth.
Built Around Families, Communities and Growth
This program is intentionally designed to support not just the rider, but the people and places that surround them. Catalyst Sports works collaboratively with parents, guardians, therapists, teachers and school leaders to help children safely integrate adaptive cycling into their everyday lives, whether that’s riding in their neighborhood, at school or on local trails.
Participants receive:
A properly fitted adaptive bike on loan
Ongoing check-ins and tune-ups every three months
Adjustments, repairs, or bike changes as the child grows
Support from a community that believes accessibility matters
Who the Program Serves
The program is open to youth ages 5–17 with physical disabilities such as spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, or limb difference. Families must live within 25 miles of the Catalyst Sports Bike Shop in Atlanta or be able to visit regularly for check-ins.
Made Possible Through Generous Support
The Kids Ride! Bike Loaner Program is currently available to families in the Atlanta, Georgia area, thanks to a generous grant from the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation and the continued support of Catalyst Sports donors.
