Southeast Paraclimbing Competition &
Training Camp
4th Annual Paraclimbing Competition

Whether you are an experienced climber or new to the sport, this regional competition is a great opportunity to compete against other adaptive climbers and a chance to gain competition experience prior to entering National Level events.
Register to compete under one of the six categories. Anyone under 16 is eligible for the Youth open category. If you have a question about the categories or are unsure of your eligibility please contact us.
Please note: In order to compete, climbers should be able to climb independently on a loose belay, and unassisted by side climbers or the Wellman harness.

Entry Fee:
Thanks to the Dralla Foundation, we are able to offer a reduced registration rate of $30.
Lodging: Reduced rates for fully accessible cabins and dorm rooms are available on a first come, first served basis at the Lakeshore Foundation in Birmingham. Please see the registration form (below) for more details. If you prefer to book your own hotel room, there are several hotels within 1-2 miles of the competition venue.
Paraclimbing Categories: Visual Impairment, Neurological / Physical Disability (R/P), Upper Extremity Amputee, Lower Extremity Amputee, Seated, Youth (Under 16 on day of competition).

NEW for 2025! The Southeast Paraclimbing Training Camp will take place after the competition, on Sunday December 7th.
Jess Malloy, USAC Paraclimbing Coach, will lead the training camp and Fernando Vasquez will lead the VI Climber/Caller Clinic. All climbers will have the opportunity to train on the competition routes and work in small groups during this full day training camp.
